RASAN’S Terms

  1. Quality Management:
    • The Client has the right to give his positive opinion/negative opinion regarding the project and to suggest amendments.
    • Amendments shall be done free of charge for the first two times.
    • Amendments required after the second time of revision will cost extra fees.
    • Any amends requested after two months of project completion will require extra project fees.
    • Work schedule shall be agreed upon by the two parties signing the contract.
    • Production is considered a separate process that starts right after all the designs, scripts, images, and photographs… etc. have been approved by the client and hereon after shall be considered as client’s property that can’t be modified or altered.
    • Designs should be delivered to client accompanied with its source files so that they can be modified in the future by the client, however, RASAN’S is not responsible for providing any software versions to its clients, clients should use up-to-date licensed software of their own.
  2. Client Co-operation:
    • The client should submit a detailed creative brief of all the requested deliverables, material, services, company history, perceived competitors,…etc.
    • Submitting the required editorial material (scripts, translations, images, designs, logos, watermark…etc.) on time, revised and well-organized.
    • The client should make sure that this information is as accurate as possible as RASAN’S is not responsible for any inaccuracies of information and copyrighted material provided by the client.
    • The Studio’s copywriters are not technical experts, so the client must make sure he has presented all technical material need that is related to his brand or scope of business.
    • The client should maintain and provide all necessary licenses, consent statements, permissions and legal papers needed throughout the project.
    • Agreeing on the budget proposed and paying the required fees to RASAN’S’ accountant.
    • The client should comply with any modifications requested by the studio in order to reach the best outcome Possible.
    • The client should also comply with the quality management procedures in order to get the best results
  3. Performance of Services:
    • The design could look slightly different from the digital design due to multiple factors such as the difference inprinting materials, unavailability of special printing effects (cellophane, UV Spot…etc), or difference in size.
    • After the design has been approved, RASAN’S will only start working on the rest of the decided stages of production after the first instalment is paid.
    • RASAN’S isn’t responsible for the compatibility of its designs when dealing with designs made for packaging, however, RASAN’S’ production team will test the packages before production.
    • Some points have to be taken into consideration when dealing with source files given to clients:
      1. RASAN’S isn’t responsible for incompatibility of different software programs or different versions of the same software program.
      2. Some elements used in the source file may have been pre-purchased by RASAN’S, these elements’ licenses and ownership can’t be passed on to the client.
    • Some points to consider when dealing with print files:
      1. Files may consist of layers or a flat image.
      2. Files may be of high resolution or of lower quality depending on the client’s budget.
      3. Print-Ready files don’t include any samples or rehearsals.
  4. Invoicing and Payments:
    • RASAN’S may require a deposit before the commencement of work. This deposit will be approximately 50% of the expected total project billing. Work will not begin until receipt of deposit.
    • RASAN’S accepts payment via bank account, credit card, debit card, or cash.
    • RASAN’S requires payment of all remaining fees upon completion of the work and final deliverables.
    • An estimated pricing range should be agreed upon before the initiation of any project, and a deposit should be paid to the responsible department at RASAN’S.
    • The Studio isn’t responsible to pay for any delay fees unless agreed upon.
    • RASAN’S is NOT responsible for any transfer fees for international transactions.
  5. Workflow Related Terms:

  6. Confidentiality and Copyright terms:
    • All documents and supporting information provided by the client to RASAN’S will remain confidential unless part of final work intended to be published or distributed.
    • Any form of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) provided by the client and signed by RASAN’S will supersede this contract clause.
    • RASAN’S may establish links to published or publicly-distributed work for his/her website, social media, online portfolio or other locations.
    • RASAN’S has to use licensed material for all of its online and offline work.
